We are also licensed for an infant-toddler program ages 6 weeks to 2 years old, by the
State of California, Department of health.

Our Infant program is small and intimate no more than 4 children.

Our program is year-round with a special summer program.

All our staff meets the requirements set by the State of California.

Our teachers are born-again Christians who are concerned about the needs of the
children and the community.

We emphasize age appropriate Christian concepts that children can understand such
as (love, kindness, sharing, helping others, etc.).

We have a special spiritual emphasis day once a week unusually consisting of a Bible
story or life related concepts, Bible concept songs, and prayer.
ABOUT US
OUR PHILOSOPHY
It is our desire to provide for your child a Christian atmosphere with a loving,
nurturing, concerned, and competent staff.

Recognizing children learn mostly through their play experiences, we have carefully
planned a well-balanced program that will help the child learn through all his/her
senses; (hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, and smelling.)

We are a developmental school that works with the Mother Goose curriculum, as
well as, Christian based, age appropriate, lesson plans that teach little ones about the
love of Jesus.

We will encourage and guide your child in developing his/her language skills, social
skills, self-expression, creativity, independence, hand-eye coordination, large and small
motor development, good personal and health habits, and good behavior habits
through the total day.

Pre-reading skills are developed though out the day’s activities including stories and
music.  Basic skills such as number-letter recognition, colors, and shapes etc., will be
presented as the child is ready.  Pre-K classes are introduced to SPA phonic program.
(Self-Pronouncing Alphabet that is geared specifically for 4-5 year olds.)

We work hand and hand with the elementary school on campus (Chula Vista
Christian School) to make sure we introduce all the materials that will be on the
Kindergarten placement test.

PROGRAM
We are a Preschool/daycare with a Preschool enrichment program from 9:00 am
until 12:00 noon.  We have special units of study such as; safety, firefighters,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, zoo animal, under the sea life, phonics, Pre-K etc., in
which we integrate Christian values.  Our activities include art, language music,
stories, math, science, computers, etc.

We have been in operation for over 37 years and have a well trained staff with almost
a zero turnover rate. We take great pride, in the fact, the longevity of our staff range
from 4 years to 20 years with our program.

Our Preschool is affiliated with
South Bay Baptist Church located on the premises.
The Church began the Preschool because we wanted to minster to our community.
We are convinced that Christian love and nurture has a powerful influence during
the critical formative years.  Yet, we do not see our Preschool as a substitute for
Parental responsibilities, but as a supportive team member.  Parents are the most
significant adult in your young child’s life.  For this very reason we want to provide
help for every parent in this sometimes overwhelming task.
